There is a reason Run DMC wrote about their Adidas and Nelly penned an ode to his Air Force Ones. Sneakers rule. I love them (they are neck and neck with sandwiches in my heart). Whenever I get a new pair I stare at them like a middle school student who just gained access to internet porn.
And there is no time of year where they are more important than the summer. A fresh pair of kicks is a must to go with any shorts and t-shirt ensemble. If I could afford it, I would go nuts and have a pair to match all of my outfits (I have outfits?). But with every new pair there comes one dreaded moment. The first scuff. Nothing can be more devastating. When it happens you look down and search desperately for a way to erase it. But alas, that pair will never be the same. You might as well pour out some liquor.
I am not going to spend any more time writing about shoes. After all, I’ve got scuffs to try and wipe off (plus this really isn’t a good topic).
