Week three picks (7-9 last week, 17-14 on the season):

New England (-4) over Atlanta–I’ll give the Pats one more shot, even though the Falcons are currently a better team.

Cleveland (+13.5) over Baltimore–Too many points.

Green Bay (-7) over St. Louis–Green Bay can’t protect Rodgers, makes me nervous. Rams aren’t good.

Jacksonville (+4) over Houston–Who knows?

Philadelphia (-9) over Kansas City–Lots of points. I have no faith in Kolb. I have less faith in the Chiefs.

New York Giants (-7) over Tampa–Giants could have letdown but are vastly superior.

San Francisco (+7) over Minnesota–49ers are a better team.

Tennessee (+3) over New York Jets–Jets will make me an official believer with a win over a desperate Titans team.

Washington (-6) over Detroit–Too many people are taking the Lions.

Chicago (-3) over Seattle–NFC West

Buffalo (+6.5) over New Orleans–Too many points to give the Bills at home.

Miami (+6) over San Diego–Dolphins need this one bad.

Denver (-2) over Oakland–Broncos move to 3-0.

Cincinnati (+4) over Pittsburgh–Steelers win by a field goal.

Indianapolis (+2.5) over Arizona–I don’t believe in the Cardinals.

Carolina (+9) over Dallas–The Panthers aren’t that bad.
