The please let the Colts and Saints lose this week edition (9-6-1 last week; 89-69-1 on the season)…

Green Bay (-11) over Detroit: The Lions are still terrible. They are more terrible sans Matt Stafford and Calvin Johnson (likely out).

Oakland (+13.5) over Dallas: The Cowboys are struggling to score, the Raiders defense is playing well. I still have serious doubts about this pick.

New York Giants (-7) over Denver: The Giants have their statement game. If they don’t, I’ll take back my NFC East win prediction.

Carolina (+3) over New York Jets: The Panthers don’t have a quarterback advantage against many teams. They just might have one against the Jets. Plus, D’Angelo Williams will run right where Kris Jenkins used to be.

Cleveland (+14) over Cincinnati: The Bengals will win this game. But they have only won one game by more than 10 points this season.

Houston (+4) over Indianapolis: The Texans are just the type of team to hand the Colts a loss (at least I can convince myself of this).

Miami (-3.5) over Buffalo: I have been on the Dolphins bandwagon all season. I picked against them last week. I won’t do it again this week.

St. Louis (+3) over Seattle: I think the Rams might get win number two. I hate the NFC West.

Atlanta (-12) over Tampa: The Falcons win by two touchdowns.

Philadelphia (-9) over Washington: One of the toughest games to pick. The Redskins are playing better and the Eagles are maddeningly inconsistent. My mind keeps screaming 20-10.

Jacksonville (+3.5) over San Francisco: The Jags are the better team. That doesn’t mean I have faith in them.

Kansas City (+14) over San Diego: Too many points to give the Chiefs in a division game. And Matt Cassel plays better on the road.

Tennessee (-1.5) over Arizona: I’m still rolling with V.Y.

Minnesota (-11) over Chicago: Another big spread. But the Vikings are really good and Jay Cutler is playing really bad.

Pittsburgh (+2.5) over Baltimore: The other game I struggled with. Polamalu is likely out again and the Steelers are a different team without him. With that said, they need this one and I am not big on the Ravens.

New England (+3) over New Orleans: I am sure this game will be promoted relentlessly. The Patriots will win fairly comfortably.
