The Miami Heat are the NWO. They are about to be the most hated but watched team ever. I love them and can’t stand them at the same time. I wonder what type of team can beat them but realize that they will be utterly unstoppable. It’s maddening.
Just like we’ve never seen anything like the LeBron James free agent farce, (You think these guys signed three year deals together after their rookie contracts by accident? They always wanted to play together. Pat Riley just made the unlikely possible. If not for Eddy Curry maybe it actually would’ve been in New York. We’ll never know), we’ve never seen anything quite like this team. They’ve got two of the three best players in the league, two of the three most unstoppable offensive weapons and their third best player just happened to start for Team USA.
Another thing we’ve found out through all this is exactly who LeBron James is. We’ve always wondered if he was the next Magic or the next Jordan. He’s neither. Think about it. He’s the next Shaq or Wilt. The most physically dominant but not quite the alpha dog we imagined him to be. Perhaps when you are so much more gifted than everyone else you don’t have to develop that kind of personality. Because if he had it, he’d certainly be in New York. That seemed like his destiny. His true destiny was to play alongside someone who does have it and dominate the NBA together.
People have called him the Robin to Wade’s Batman. He’s more like Batman’s Superman. The only thing is, Batman has super powers too. It’s like Iron Man and the Incredible Hulk. In fact, I don’t truly know what it’s like because we’ve never seen anything like it.
It’s a New World Order.
(Bosh is Wonder Woman by the way)

i love when people say if he really wanted to win hed play with chiacago, yea thats why miami has half a roster and people are trying to figure out what team can beat them already…btw labron and rose has similar game its just Derek rose would need to take steroids to be the same as labron, in other words unless chicago would have traded rose (they wouldnt have) then it would have been dum going to chicago if labron wanted to win
LBJ is just too sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!
Great comparison, Lundberg. I can’t see how anybody outside Cleaveland isn’t excited about this team. I can’t wait to see how the trio matches up with the Lakers, Magic, Bulls, and Celtics. If NY gets Carmelo and an elite PG like Nash or Chris Paul next year, than we’ll have two super teams in the East. Great time to be an NBA fan.
people keep saying we got it wrong and he’s just not that guy we mistakenly thought he was. but in ‘our’ defense, he wore michael jordan’s number the last seven years he has ‘the chosen one’ tattooed on his back. i feel like every indication he’s made the last few years especially has been that he wanted us to think of him as that guy. and now we never will. he took the easy way out and as a new yorker i call that a cop out. melo paul and amare will take them down because in the presence of evil, good will assemble and prevail.
yeah it does fit well bosh lebron and wade are your nash hogan and hall. the rest of the team is gonna be horace hogan, vincent(virgil), whatever brutus the barberbeefcake was calling himself at the time, and maybe a buffbagwell.
lakers on the other hand are like a dx perhaps, i realize they didnt have a long roster but you know that if they were to add more guys it was going to be strong from top to bottom. lakers will still beat the heat, and it will be another notch of kobes belt
